just a heads up that i’ve been working on a page in the wiki for peloton programs. for the new folks who are still learning and navigating their bike or app – peloton has several structured training programs that guide you through learning safe technique but progressively make you stronger. currently, you can only see the programs tab on the bike/tread or peloton ios app which is a huge fail – imho. they don’t even have a blog post with the schedule for the programs. so if you’re a app/diy user and don’t have an ios device you may have no flippin’ clue what i’m talking about. not everyone has an ios device or wants to do yoga on their bike/tread. because us unpaid mods actually see and hear the complaints y’all have and want to bridge the gaps if and when we can. it’s not perfect – but you can at least figure out what the programs are, list of classes, equipment needed, etc. i recommend bookmarking them in your browser for easy access. thanks to all of you for your banter and feedback. ps special thanks to thomas and matt for listening to my melt down over every single link being non functional in all 4 programs i worked on. god save the queen well i am a peasant with a diy setup and until recently was android/firetv only too. hopefully it makes it a little easier to do off the bike stuff!

honestly i was so excited to just get a peloton, but you all have become a large percentage of what peloton and the culture means to me. relatedly, has anyone tried modifying the marathon program for a 1/2? i’m kinda bummed they don’t have one for a 1/2 and i’m addicted to logging minutes lol not sure if this is the right place to ask, but is the total strength program meant to be done at a gym or can it be done at home? i’d love for them to come out with a bodyweight-only/no equipment floor program (strength and cardio). it just calls for “light, medium, and heavy” dumbells so it’s relative to what you consider to be. you can snag a lot of great stuff for cheap. if you go the amazon route – pay attention to the price of a single versus a pair. i have an android and right now my process is to take pictures of the programs on my bike screen. thank you so so much. i go into chat and i feel i get no where with what i need vs what is available. this is so cool! i found some programs that i want to try, is there a way to save them somewhere? the beginners one i want to do is on my recommended slide and i’m afraid an algorithm will make it lost forever.
